The only 5 videos your business channel needs

Not a hundred ideas. Five types of video, each doing a different job, made over and over and connected in one direction.

Your business channel doesn't need a hundred content ideas. It needs five types of video, made over and over, each doing a different job.

Most channels make one of these five on repeat and wonder why nothing converts. This is the lineup we build for expert businesses: the five types, where the topics come from, and the part that actually matters, the map. Because it's not about the five videos. It's how they connect.

1. The answered question

This is the workhorse. One video answers one question your buyer is already asking. The viewer has a problem, your video solves it, and they trust you a little more. Every answered question is a deposit.

The topics don't come from brainstorming. They come from mining, in three places:

One production note: answer the question in the first minute, then go deep. Don't make people wait for it.

2. The belief breaker

Your buyer isn't only missing information. They believe something false, and that false belief is usually why they haven't bought from anyone yet.

The belief breaker is a positioning video, not a tutorial. You take one false belief in your market, show why it's wrong, and show what is actually true. For example: why posting more won't grow your business.

Every market has five to ten of these beliefs. You hear them on every sales call, which is also where you collect them. Type one earns trust by being useful. This one earns authority by having a position. The viewer leaves thinking, this person sees the industry more clearly than the people I've been listening to.

3. The response video

The first two types only reach people who already found you. A viewer is watching your video or someone else's, so the fastest way to reach a new audience is to attach yourself to one that already exists.

Take the biggest video in your niche this quarter, break it down, and add what it missed. Their audience's curiosity carries your video.

There is a sharper version: the respectful disagreement. You take one claim from a big voice in your space and make the honest counter-argument. Not disrespectful, but specific. That video becomes the collection point for everyone who watched the original and had doubts.

One rule: you need a real position. If you don't genuinely disagree, make the breakdown version instead. The audience can tell.

4. The transformation

This is the one that closes. One client: where they started, what you did together, where they ended, with real numbers shown with permission.

It's the type most experts have the most material for, and make the least. Every client transformation is potential content, and it's sitting in your results folder. Types one and two make people believe you. This one makes them believe it works.

5. The monster video

One long free course, 60 to 90 minutes, that teaches your complete method from start to finish.

The other four types create attention and trust. This one concentrates it and converts it. Everything on the channel eventually points here, and it ends with an application for the people who fit. If you only ever build one big asset, build this one.

The map: how the five connect

Viewers sit on a line. At one end, someone seeing your face for the first time. At the other, someone who has watched everything. Each video type serves a different point on that line.

Each video's end screen points one step to the right. Forward only.

So you connect them in that direction, on purpose. Every video gets one end screen, not five suggestions, pointing to the next type on the line. Answered questions point to a belief breaker. The belief breaker points to a transformation. The transformation points to the monster video.

Never loop the viewer back to where they came from. Forward only. Draw it once on a whiteboard, and every upload knows exactly where it sends people. A stranger can then travel from the first click to the application without you touching anything.

A small bonus: test with short form

Not sure a topic deserves a full video? Test it as a short first. If the short moves, the long-form version is already validated. The long-form viewer is worth much more, but let short form do the cheap testing.

Your homework

This week, open your DMs and your last three sales calls. Write down five questions, three objections and two false beliefs you heard. That's ten videos for the first two types, sourced, not brainstormed. Then sketch the map: one arrow per video type, all pointing toward the application.
